But you can still have the same great quality on a custom blog, which gives you all the swell features of Word Press and one of our award winning designs.  The price is $2,500 for a limited time.  That is a great introductory price.

Check out this design below.  It is for Joe Pryor’s Breaking News blog with Domus Consulting.  It has all the bells and whistles that you need and makes a statement about your online business.

Contact me immediately, I will only offer this price of $2,500 for a short time.

Custom Design for Advanced Access Clients

January 14th, 2010

We have just gone live on a new custom design for an Advanced Access client.

www.TurnKeyHomesandLoans.com.

We have several exquisite designs in process for Advanced Access.  This is only a design on Kim’s mockup, no coding yet.  The latin will be replaced by regular text.  We always set designs in latin and then the regular text goes in, once we go into programming.

We have loved working with Advanced Access in the past and so thrilled to work with this platform.  Their customer support is the BEST in the template industry.

If you are thinking about one of our custom maps, the price will be going up in the next couple of weeks.  The current price for custom maps is $3,000 + $50 for each point of interest.  www.BeautifulCustomMaps.com.

The price for custom website designs starts at $5,000.

Something I discovered as part of the Eco Broker course

January 9th, 2010

I just received a response back from the David Suzuki Foundation and they are interested in a custom map for Grizzly bears.  How exciting!!!

Great-Bear-Rainforest

I have found the Eco Broker course to be extremely valuable, and not just “another course” we have to take. One of the lessons that was in the last set of marketing materials, was talking about reaching out to affiliates.

white-bear-winesI had an idea to reach out to environmentalists and discovered the there is a beautiful rain forest in British Columbia called the Great Bear Forest. It has white bears that are amazing. What was interesting was this forest is the last of its kind in the world. It brought me to a website from the David Suzuki Foundation, and a paper on the Great White Bear -

http://www.savethegreatbear.org/
http://www.davidsuzuki.org/Forests/
http://www.davidsuzuki.org/files/Forests/DSF-rainforests-2005-5.pdf .

The reason I mention this is it made me think of other ways to work with people who are making a difference.

As Eco Brokers we have a voice in the industry that speaks directly to homeowners. It’s not just about saving money on appliances and getting green loans. The bigger picture is keeping our forests, which are called the lungs of earth. If we all do a small part to conserve, we make a difference.

Sometimes it only takes one person to start a domino effect. Taking a few moments out of our busy day to see what eco minded people are doing to make a difference. Reach out to them, make friends, help them in a small way.

I have offered to create a custom map of the Great Bear forest for the Suzuki Foundation. This was inspired by one of the lessons in our Eco Broker Marketing class.

I’m going to visit Vancouver later this month and perhaps take a tour of this forest aboard Great Bear Tours.  I’ll give a full report with photos soon.

Are we seeing less or more chatter about going green?

November 16th, 2009

With the housing crisis still in full bloom, I have seen less excitement about eco housing issues in the real estate community.  With health issues at the forefront, proponents of this will bill have their work cut out.

Al Gore was on Larry King last night and speaking about an ambitious bill to act on global warming.  http://www.worldchanging.com/archives/010577.html

This could generate millions of new jobs here in America.

One of the interesting comments Gore made was about the average age of people that are most excited about the eco movement. Believe it or not, it’s our young people!

Advisors told Kennedy that a man would never land on the moon. We know the outcome of the naysayers and that it could be done. The average age in Mission Control was 26 when the Apollo landed!!!

http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/news/world-news/moon-landings-40th-anniversary-14418046.html

There are stupid, yes highly intelligent stupid scientists who say that the solar cycles are responsible for our crisis, not billions of pounds of CO2 being dumped into our atmosphere DAILY.

We must educate our children, while taking responsibility for our dependence on foreign fuels.

Don’t let the real estate market woes keep us from the task at hand.  Look at the climate crisis from a larger picture.  Do your small part now to create a cleaner world.  The end result could mean millions of sustainable and renewable jobs.

Be a part of a healthy legacy for generations to come.
